  16. I once bought a Conner 1060s 1Gb disk which was impossible to use on
  17. an Amiga. On a PC it was fine. A message in c.s.scsi.peripherals made
  18. me aware of the fact that the disk didn't work on Unix-boxes either.

  20. I got in touch with Conner Europe, who promptly sent me a new
  21. rom-image (this disk was flashrom-upgradeable). Once the new code was
  22. transferred to the disk, it worked great.

  24. Now, what you should take notice of here, is what I said about it
  25. working fine on a PC, but not on Amiga. The Amiga (and Unix) OS use
  26. the SCSI-standard to it's fullest, whereas a PC is more 'simple' in
  27. it's diskaccess.

  29. In conclusion - check what version of the firmware is installed on the
  30. disks. If they're different, then a firmware upgrade is very lightly
  31. to solve your trouble.
